Production help for apps built on Lovable · Base44 · Bolt · Replit

Hitting a wall with your app builder?

Base44 and Lovable are great… until things get complicated. Let a software engineer step in.

CT

I'm Cooper Tingey, a seasoned software engineer and now CTO. Let me help you.

You keep your app, your data and your accounts — and you stay in charge of building it. We keep it well kept.

  • Stuck in a prompt loopAn engineer reads the actual code
  • Everything lives inside the builderHosted on a database you can log into

Sound familiar?

The builder got you here. It can't take you further.

Every fix breaks two other things

You ask for one change and three screens shift. The AI says it's fixed. It isn't.

Credits disappear, the bugs don't

Forty prompts into the same problem and the bill keeps climbing.

It's live, and you're the only one who can fix it

Real users, real data, and no one to call when something breaks at 9pm.

You've outgrown what the builder can do

Integrations, security, a database you can actually see — the questions have gotten technical.

How it works

You keep building. We keep it well kept.

  1. 1

    We meet

A call where you show me the app and tell me what's going wrong. I ask a lot of questions and tell you plainly what I see — no jargon, no pitch.

  2. 2

I take in your app and clean it up

I bring your code into Claude with me, fix what's broken, straighten out the structure, and host it on a database you have access to — in accounts you own.

  3. 3

I get you on Claude Code

I set Claude Code up on your machine and show you how to keep building the app yourself, with changes checked before they go live. You stay in charge of the building.

  4. 4

    I handle the hard issues

When something comes up that a builder can't solve — an integration, a security question, a migration, a performance problem — that's what I'm for.

About Well Kept

Run by an engineer who keeps production software every day

CT

Cooper Tingey · Software engineer · CTO

Well Kept Software is run by Cooper Tingey, a seasoned software engineer and CTO. I've spent the last year taking AI-built apps the last mile, and I'm the person you'll actually work with — not a ticket queue.

Estate-planning firm · Lovable → Google Cloud

Their client-intake and document app started as a Lovable prototype. I took it in, cleaned it up, and moved it to production on Google Cloud — a database they can log into, Microsoft 365 sign-in for staff, Word drafts generated with tracked changes, backups, and a deploy pipeline. Their staff use it every day.

Catapult · production SaaS

I'm the CTO at Catapult, a SaaS platform that sends customer messages for pest-control companies every day across three CRM integrations. Keeping real businesses running is my day job — and it's the standard I bring to your app.

Questions

Straight answers

Do I have to stop using Lovable or Base44?

No. Plenty of people keep using the builder for design and quick UI changes. What changes is where the app runs, who can fix it, and how changes reach your users.

Who owns the app?

You do. The code, the database, the hosting and the domain all live in accounts you control. I have access while we work together; you can revoke it at any time.

What does "clean it up" actually mean?

I read the code the builder generated, fix the bugs you know about and the ones you don't, remove the duplication and dead ends, lock down security, and put it on proper hosting with backups and monitoring. Rarely a rewrite — usually a serious tidy-up.

I don't code. Can I really use Claude Code?

Yes. If you built an app by prompting Lovable, you can build with Claude Code. I set it up, show you the workflow, and put guard rails in so a bad change can't take your app down. When you hit something hard, you send it to me.

What counts as a "hard issue"?

Anything the builder or Claude Code can't get you through: third-party integrations, payments, security and permissions, database changes, performance, app-store builds, or a bug that keeps coming back.

Why "Well Kept"?

Because building the app turns out to be the easy half. Software a business actually runs on has to be kept: patched, backed up, monitored, and fixed properly when it breaks. Keeping it that way is the job — and the name.

How fast?

We can usually meet within a few days. Cleanup and move takes one to three weeks depending on integrations and how much data has to move.
